Did You See That Train?
When did the lights turn out and in the middle of the game too. This is ridiculous to think that in the middle of a hockey game; the refs would just turn out the lights on you. That is really rude to think that the bills are not being paid in the barn. You know what I had the puck too, then wham the lights are gone and it is suddenly pitch black. I do faintly remember the train that was coming to pick me up and take me to me to the hospital if I did not avoid it.
I was already expecting it to miss me and in the middle of that thought they just go and turn the lights off on me. Now I believe that I can move, but I am not too sure because the lights are still off. I really hope that they turn the lights back on because I have to get home after this because I got places to be in the morning. This is not the first time that the rink has turned the lights out on me like this, as scared as this makes me feel when they do some shenanigans like this. Usually I am able to pop my body right back up after meeting the train head-on. This time feels different and I cannot quite put my finger on it as the lights are still off.
This has to be costing someone money or am I the only that has the lights off. I also do not hear the train or the other passengers that are also looking to avoid the train. It is definitely quiet, too quiet in a place that has a tremendous echo. I wonder if my coach is worried about the fact that the lights are still off and the sound has been lost for the game.
He should have informed the team or at least someone on the ice could help me out as I try to figure out just what is going on. Oh yeah that is right I cannot move still, what a bummer. This is really going to cut into my time that I can goof off and eat before needing to sleep. I can always nap here though if they are going to be like that.
It looks like the lights are coming back on and I can hear voices again, what a relief. That bit was getting old because in reality who has a conversation with themselves. I am still doing it though, but that is not my fault the sound is all muffled. I appear to have lost all my battle armor in the middle of that power outage and I am now heading home for some reason as far I am concerned. Right in the middle of the game is just plain weird, I had the puck and everything. Now I am being told that I cannot go to sleep. This is the most bizarre day of my life. Oh yeah I almost forgot, did you see that train?
